Valheim Seed Lab Privacy Policy

Effective October 9, 2026

Overview

Valheim Seed Lab is an unofficial, independently developed world-generation and mapping utility published by SmithNuggets. The app is designed to work locally and does not require an account.

Information handled by the app

Seed text, favorite seeds, map pins, search settings, search checkpoints, generated map data, and app preferences are processed and stored locally on your device. On supported platforms, files you explicitly choose for save or world inspection are processed locally.

Data collection and sharing

Valheim Seed Lab does not transmit personal information, app activity, seeds, saved-world information, or diagnostic exports to the developer or third parties. The app contains no advertising, analytics, tracking SDKs, or user accounts. It does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, or advertising identifier.

Diagnostics and exports

Performance measurements and diagnostic information are generated locally. A diagnostic or data export is created only when you request it, and you control whether and with whom that exported file is shared.

Retention and deletion

Local app data remains on your device until you remove it using an available in-app control, clear the app's storage in your device settings, or uninstall the app. Files you export remain wherever you choose to save or share them.

Platform services

Google Play and your device operating system may process installation, security, crash, or performance information under their own terms and privacy policies. Valheim Seed Lab does not control those platform services.

Children's privacy

The app is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the app's data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the current version.
